Electrician / Instrumentation Supervisor
$90 per hour + super | 8:6 roster | 12-hour days | BIBO from Darwin | Starts ASAP
TRACKS Integrated Services is seeking an experienced Electrician / Instrumentation Supervisor to join our team.
This hands-on leadership role combines technical E&I expertise with supervision to ensure safe, reliable operations across electrical and instrumentation systems in a mining and heavy industry environment.
Key Details
Roster: 8 days on / 6 days off
Hours: 12-hour shifts
Travel: BIBO from Darwin
Rate: $90 per hour + superannuation
Term: 6 months (potential to extend)
Key Responsibilities
Supervision & Leadership: Oversee daily E&I activities, allocate work, complete permits and JSAs, and ensure compliance and documentation are finalised.
Electrical Installations & Maintenance: Install, maintain, and repair HV and LV cabling, electrical systems, and equipment.
Fault Diagnosis & Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve electrical and instrumentation issues to minimise downtime.
Instrumentation & Controls: Set up, calibrate, and maintain systems including SCADA and PLCs.
Shutdowns: Plan, isolate, inspect, and recommission safely.
Testing & Inspections: Verify performance against safety and operational standards.
Preventative Maintenance: Implement strategies to optimise reliability and efficiency.
Reporting & SAP: Manage work orders, updates, and close-outs in SAP.
About You
Trade-qualified Electrician / Instrumentation Technician
10+ years' experience in mining or heavy industry
Previous supervisory experience
SAP experience (essential)
Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills
Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
