Our members enjoy access to industry-leading gym facilities, innovative group fitness classes, and bespoke personal training solutions—empowering people throughout Australia to live the Goodlife.
As both a service provider and employer, our mission is simple: Move people to achieve great things.
The opportunity:
Member Support Consultants (MSCs) at our Payneham club play an essential role in building and maintaining a thriving Goodlife Health Club membership base. MSCs are the first point of contact for prospective members and inspire them to begin their wellness journey with us. They are responsible for helping thousands of people become faster, fitter, stronger, and happier versions of themselves.
The role of an MSC is highly varied with two main goals: achieving membership growth through proactive sales activities and retaining existing members through excellent customer service. MSCs are experts in all things Goodlife: seamlessly switching between sales and lead generation, providing exceptional service, and proactively communicating with current members to enhance their club experience and drive retention.
Responsibilities:
Contribute proactively to club sales targets using promotions and referral campaigns.
Generate and convert high-quality sales leads through community outreach, seeking referrals, and identifying new business opportunities.
Achieve the required number of lead contacts via telephone to maximize sales opportunities.
Provide sales presentations and tours to prospective members.
Create positive and personalized member experiences.
Respond successfully to inquiries.
Open and close the club as per the roster.
Participate actively in member retention programs, inspiring members to continue their fitness journey.
Make regular service calls to new and existing members to keep them engaged, recommending club-based products to enhance their results.
About you:
Current First Aid & CPR certificates.
A valid Working with Children Check.
Ability to build rapport with diverse individuals and help them succeed in their goals.
Problem-solving skills and resilience.
Excellent communication skills—listening, understanding, empathizing, and influencing.
