**MUST BE ENROLLED IN A PHD IN THE FACULTY OF ENGINEERING AT THE UNIVERSITY OF SYDNEY**
The School of Computer Science (SCS) is research intensive and has a strong tradition of research-led teaching. The School offers undergraduate majors in computer science, cyber security, data science and software development within its flagship Bachelor of Advanced Computing degree and combined degree programs with commerce and science. The School of Computer Science are seeking current PhD students for part-time (0.2 FTE) appointments at an Associate Lectureship level. You must be enrolled in a PhD degree in the Faculty of Engineering and expect to remain enrolled until December 31st, 2026
- engage in high-quality teaching and learning experiences which meet the University's expectations and standards for education-focused staff
- engage constructively with student feedback and other evaluations of teaching practice
- suggest, implement and evaluate improvements and innovations in teaching and learning
- develop and understand best practices in teaching and learning
- attend and contribute to School/Faculty meetings and contribute to events such as Open and Info Days
- contribute to education-related projects aligned to the strategy of the Faculty.
Training will be provided by Faculty staff and teaching mentors. Additionally, you will have access to various University training courses and modules on topics such as team teaching, creating positive environments, and peer-to-peer learning.

- are enrolled in a PhD degree in the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Sydney

- are motivated and able to work independently
- have experience using Canvas (or equivalent learning management systems) and other online learning tools.
