You’ll lead a high-performing team, drive operational excellence, and champion a strong safety culture aligned with our Circle of Care. Working closely with the Regional Manager and internal stakeholders, you’ll be responsible for lifting efficiency, improving stock integrity, enhancing service performance, and delivering consistent DIFOT results for our trade customers.

If you thrive in a rapid-paced environment, love continuous improvement, and take pride in developing people and creating a safe, well-run operation, this role is for you.

- Lead, coach, and support the RFC team to deliver strong safety, service, and performance outcomes.

- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stocktakes, and prompt investigation of variances.

- Ensure warehouse layout, racking, equipment, and vehicles are safe, compliant, and well maintained.

- Drive a strong safety culture through inspections, toolbox talks, hazard reporting, and consistent WHS practices.

- Plan and allocate daily workloads, ensuring adequate resourcing and efficient workflow across all RFC functions.

- Work collaboratively with branches and distribution partners to meet delivery expectations and achieve DIFOT targets.

- Resolve operational, delivery, or quality issues quickly to minimise impact on customers and the business.

- Identify and implement process improvements to lift productivity, reduce waste, and optimise warehouse operations.

- Promote best practice use of warehouse systems, technology, and operational standards to support continuous improvement.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

- Proven experience leading warehouse, logistics, or distribution centre operations, ideally within building materials or manufacturing.

- Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse systems, and end-to-end logistics processes.

- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams in a quick-paced environment.

- Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.

- A safety-first mindset with solid understanding of WHS standards, risk management, and compliance requirements.

- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with a customer-focused approach to the last-mile experience.

- Forklift Licence (mandatory).

- HR or MR driver’s licence (preferred).

- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Logistics, or a related field (preferred).
