Position: FormsetterClassification: Level 5 (Stream B)Department: Infrastructure & OperationsProgram: Field Services
What You'll Do:
* Construct and Repair: From concrete pits to slabs, you'll be the go-to expert for all things formsetting.
* Operate Equipment: Show off your skills with trucks, ride-on equipment, and light mechanical plant.
* Hands-On Tasks: Get your hands dirty with road maintenance, drainage, earthworks, and more.
* Client Service: Provide top-notch service to both internal and external clients.
* Safety First: Follow all WH&S regulations to keep yourself and your team safe.
What We're Looking For:
Qualifications and Experience
Essential
* Current General Construction Safety 'White' Card.
* Current QLD Manual Car 'C' Class Open Driver's Licence.
* Current QLD Medium Rigid Truck 'MR' Class Licence.
* Demonstrated experience in construction/maintenance formsetting tasks.
* Demonstrated experience in construction/maintenance of roads and drainage infrastructure.
Desirable
* Current Traffic Controllers Ticket.
* Demonstrated experience in operating road construction plant and/or equipment with relevant Certificates of Competency where applicable.
Skills
Essential
* Demonstrated formsetting skills.
* Demonstrated skills in concrete placement and finishing work.
* Competency in reading engineering design plans.
* Competency in using a dumpy and laser level.
* Sound skills in oral and written communication.
* Demonstrated manual handling skills with the ability to work safely.
* Ability to work cooperatively with others and foster a team environment.
* Sound skills in dealing with internal and external clients.
Knowledge
Essential
* Sound knowledge of the Workplace Health and Safety regulations relevant to the Construction Industry.
* Standard of education and/or demonstrated ability to read, write and perform basic numerical calculations to a standard commensurate with the duties involved in the position.
* Sound knowledge of roads and drainage construction and maintenance works activities.
Special Requirements
* Willingness and flexibility to work overtime outside normal hours, where required, to undertake assigned tasks.

* Base annual salary of $ 65,688.71 ($1263.24 per week) plus allowances as applicable
