Key Responsibilities Assist with a laptop refresh program, including replacement of legacy devices Conduct a detailed audit of IT assets, ensuring accurate data capture Document hardware, operating systems, configurations, and usage details Support remediation activities following the audit phase Provide basic Linux-based support (primarily troubleshooting and setup) Work respectfully with highly specialised end users who may be protective of their systems Maintain accurate records and follow established IT processes About the Environment You will be supporting a scientific and research-focused user base, where attention to detail, discretion, and professionalism are critical.
