THE ROLE
This is a very unique role as you will be starting the CFO Advisory division within the firm and will be expected to be able to hit the ground running. The clients and work are already there, you will be well supported from the other partners in different service lines in a collaborative approach to best service the client.
The role will vary and include but not be limited to the below:
* Assisting HNW & sophisticated organisations optimise their financial and operational performance.
* Undertake viability reviews, diagnosing areas of sub‐optimal performance and formulating strategies to address areas of improvement,
* Collaborating with management and business owners to implement performance improvement strategies
* Financial analysis, independent business reviews and working capital optimisation
* Day‐to‐day trading of businesses including overseeing payroll, supplier relationships, legal and contracting negotiations, customer relationships, statutory compliance and cashflow (AP/AR)
* Extensive stakeholder engagement including developing and maintaining relationships with key customers, suppliers, financiers, tax authorities, employee representatives etc.
YOU
To be a successful candidate for this role, you will be:
* CA/CPA qualified with several years' experience in another Australian Accounting firm and/or a commercial organisation
* Prior experience in providing CFO Advisory services
* Able to demonstrate previous success in a similar managerial role
* Personable and approachable with excellent ability to engage with clients
* Proven experience working across a variety of industries
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills
