The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Procurement Manager will work within a fast paced environment. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for working with key stakeholders to deliver optimal financial and operational outcomes relating to supply agreements.
Key stakeholders will benefit from your tenacity, commitment and best in class standards in driving meaningful outcomes via the following key responsibilities.
The Responsibilities:
•Develop and deliver procurement strategies across the business
•Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
•Data analysis, supplier sourcing, contract negotiations and management
•Ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and risk frameworks
•Build strong relationships internally and externally
•Work closely with Executive and operational team.
•Develop RFP processes and documentation that support the submission process for key projects.
•Develop structures for the audit and review of each contract that ensure ongoing efficiencies and savings once signed.
•Develop business cases that support recommendations for each leading RFP candidate for board approval.
•Assist related parties to deliver successful outcomes for their procurement activities.
•Promote cross-functional collaboration across the business to ensure procurement strategies are aligned with APL objectives.

About You:
•Five + years in Procurement, three + years in a management role
•Highly skilled strategic buying experience and excellent negotiation skills
•Appropriate qualifications
•Enthusiastic, self-starter. This role is ideal for someone who is willing to pave the way with new, innovative procurement processes and strategies.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
•Experience in writing board submissions (written and verbal), RFPs, RFQs
