Your Role And Responsibilities
The Project Manager is responsible for successful implementation of Data Platforms, Data Integration, and Reporting and Analytics projects. Individuals within this specialty and skill set manage client engagements, ensuring delivery of solutions for IT, business and client requirements. They manage scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables, apply planning, tracking, change control, and risk management techniques. They manage project resources, including global delivery resources, and establish an effective communication plan with the project team and the client. They provide day-to-day direction to the project team and regular status updates to the client.
As a Project Manager Your Responsibilities Include
Communication/Negotiation: Communicate and provide advice to other professionals, effectively utilize group dynamics; negotiate to define approaches and goals; lead or join development teams to deliver proposed systems for client's business requirements; communicate effectively with client product owners and solution architects to achieve optimal outcomes; balance priorities to ensure client gets maximum value.
Contribution/Leadership: Provide ongoing technical/operational guidance to lead professional work teams, conduct special projects, or manage clusters of technical practitioners; understand departmental functional mission and vision; define and decide objectives within specified business concept or project; may have responsibility for tools and assigned resources; utilize technical expertise to influence others and achieve best outcomes; innovative solutions may be required where no precedent exists.
Required Technical And Professional Expertise
* At least 5 years' experience as a Project Management Professional, versed in executing technical projects.
* Experience in leading implementations of Cloud Data platforms, Data Integrations, Business Intelligence & Reporting, Data Governance or similar projects.
* At least 2 years' experience in managing multi-vendor and complex systems integration projects, working in a distributed team environment, managing offshore teams with demonstrable outcomes.
* At least 2 years' experience in Agile PM Methods.
* At least 1 year's experience in Energy and Utilities Industry knowledge.
