Details of Role
Working with Ventura's Fleet Support team, we are seeking a Casual Refueller/Yard Person to work at our Lilydale Depot.
This position available is the afternoon shift working from 6:00pm- 11:00pm – 15 hours per a week. (Hours can vary depending on depots need)
The key responsibilities of this role will be to ensure the smooth and safe operation of the depot yard, ensuring that our buses are ready to head out on their trips the following day.
Duties included but not limited to:
* Fuelling of the buses (diesel)
* Conducting Pre-Trip Inspections including fluid levels and tyre checks
* Maintain a high standard for our fleet of vehicles on a daily basis including internal cleaning of buses
* Reporting any defected vehicles
* External wash of vehicles in accordance with company specifications, meet presentation expectations including under chassis
* General yard maintenance
* Maintain and update vehicle passenger signage and notices
What are we looking for?
* Current MR Licence or above preferred - you will need to move the buses in the yard at times
* Ability to work outdoors in all types of weather conditions - We will provide you with uniform and PPE
* Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure
* Excellent attention to detail
* Ability to work well in a team working towards common goals
* Ability to pass a medical including drug and alcohol test
* Track record for reliability
* Own vehicle to travel to other locations when required
* Flexibility to work additional hours
* Weekend work available
