Role
As a community mental health practitioner, you will provide specialist comprehensive recovery-orientated mental healthcare services to adults experiencing serious mental health disorders and problems in the South West region.
This role involves working with consumers and their carers/support people to develop innovative and culturally safe service options.
You will engage with community managed and non-government services, participate in the development of new service options and contribute to the provision of mental health care in rural and remote Queensland.

Skills and Qualifications
* A postgraduate degree in psychology or a related field is essential
* Current registration as a psychologist or psychiatrist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Experience working with adults experiencing serious mental health disorders and problems
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
