Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Advanced Composites Fabricator to join our team. As a key member of our production staff, you will be responsible for the fabrication and assembly of composite components using advanced techniques such as vacuum infusion and resin transfer moulding.
Main Responsibilities
* Composite Material Preparation
o Prepare and lay‑up carbon fibre and other composite materials according to engineering specifications
* Fabrication Techniques
o Operate vacuum infusion, resin transfer moulding, Pre‑preg and other composite fabrication equipment
* Secondary Operations
o Perform secondary operations such as trimming, drilling, and surface preparation
* Maintenance and Organisation
o Maintain a clean and organised work environment to ensure product quality
* Process Development
o Assist in the development of new manufacturing processes and techniques
* Safety and Quality
o Follow all safety protocols and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements
* Experience
o Proven experience as a Composite Technician or Carbon Fibre Laminator, ideally in the automotive, aerospace or industrial sectors
* Knowledge and Skills
o Strong working knowledge of composite materials, fabrication techniques, and related equipment
* Cognitive Abilities
o Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality control documentation
* Presentation and Teamwork
o Excellent hand‑eye coordination, attention to detail, and problem‑solving skills
