Unify Recruitment are partnering with a top tier contractor who have a requirement for 2 x an experienced Project Engineer to join their growing team across Greater Sydney. With a strong pipeline of utilities, earthworks, and RMS projects, this is an opportunity to work on complex, high-profile civil projects with a respected industry leader.
The Role As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of major civil packages, ensuring works are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate and deliver utilities, bulk earthworks, and RMS roadwork packages
* Prepare and review ITPs, SWMS, work packs, and construction methodologies
* Manage subcontractors including procurement support, scope control, and performance monitoring
* Track progress against program and drive productivity outcomes
* Oversee quality assurance processes, inspections, and testing requirements
* Support cost control, forecasting, and monthly reporting
* Liaise with Project Managers, site supervisors, designers, and client representatives
* Ensure compliance with NSW specifications, TfNSW/RMS standards, and company safety systems
* Promote and maintain strong safety leadership on site
About You
* Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or similar
* Proven experience delivering utilities (water, sewer, stormwater), earthworks, and/or RMS road infrastructure projects
* Strong understanding of NSW standards and specifications
* Experience working with subcontractors and self-perform teams
* Solid commercial awareness and reporting capability
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
