Role description
Dhelkaya Health is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our dedicated Food Services team.
Our kitchen produces over 750 meals daily, using cook fresh and cook chill processes, and also provides home-delivered meals to members of our community. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the wellbeing of patients, aged care residents, and community clients through high-quality food service.
Key responsibilities:
* Assist in food preparation and cooking in both the kitchen & café
* Support special need catering and function work, preparing a variety of dishes
* Participating in menu planning and ensure food cost requirements are met
* Maintain high standards of hygiene and food safety
* Work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other departments to ensure efficient service delivery
Aout you
* Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (or suitable amount of practical experience)
* Food Safety Training
* Demonstrate a good understanding of food handling requirements
* Have a positive attitude
* An ability to provide excellent customer service
