Infrastructure Canberra is seeking a Project Manager to play a critical role in supporting the ACT Government’s commitment to progressively insource public housing repairs and maintenance. This position will lead activities that ensure readiness for the demobilisation of the Total Facilities Management (TFM) Agreement and enable a smooth transition to an insourced delivery model. Under broad direction, the role will lead activities that support continuity of service delivery and preparation for the transition, including validating and reconciling asset and maintenance data, identifying risks, and implementing processes that enable a smooth handover to the insourced delivery model. The position will work closely with the TFM provider to align timelines, resolve contractual issues, and ensure obligations are met during preparation and demobilisation. It requires a high level of strategic thinking, technical expertise in data assurance, and the ability to influence outcomes across multiple stakeholders. What you will do: Lead and coordinate activities to prepare for and support the demobilisation of the Total Facilities Management (TFM) Agreement, ensuring readiness for transition to an insourced delivery model. Oversee and assure the integrity of contractor-provided data, including asset information, maintenance history, and performance metrics, to enable accurate planning and operational continuity. Provide high-level strategic advice to the Executive and governance forums on operational and transition related risks, data quality, and contractual matters impacting service continuity. Work in close partnership with the Insourcing Transition Team and the TFM provider, fostering collaboration to resolve contractual issues, align timelines, and ensure obligations are met during preparation and demobilisation. Monitor and report on during the demobilisation phase, ensuring risks are identified early and escalated appropriately. Provide transparent reporting to executive leadership and oversight committees. Develop and implement frameworks and processes for data validation and handover, ensuring compliance with ACT Government standards and supporting informed decision-making. Represent the Directorate in strategic discussions and negotiations, maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across government and industry. Contribute to organisational change initiatives, supporting the shift to an insourced model through planning, risk assessment, and readiness activities. Undertake other duties appropriate to this classification as directed. Eligibility/Other requirements: Essential: Significant infrastructure/property contract management experience (maintenance, repairs, asset management). Experience operating in a senior management capacity Highly Desirable: Contract, Project or Procurement management qualifications (or equivalent). Relevant tertiary qualifications Notes: This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of three months with the possibility of extension up to six months.
