About Contract Logistics

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will take ownership of the customer site in Caboolture, coordinating the daily driver runs, supporting site productivity and driving efficiency.
Responsibilities
* Manage and coordinate drivers' movements to deliver daily customer requirements of woodchips.
* Assist with any pre‐loading or customer deliveries when required.
* Manage the daily payroll of the team of drivers, data entry, and completing paperwork.
* Act as the first point of contact for any breakdowns, issues or incidents and assist in the resolution.
* Oversee both early morning and afternoon shifts and resolve any issues.
* Ensure compliance with correct processes and regulations.
* Maintain a strong safety culture and compliance with NHVR & Mass/Maintenance Management regulations.
* Lead and motivate team members to ensure maximum productivity.
* Communicate information to the customer and internal stakeholders regarding delivery completion and daily progress.
* Ensure equipment is serviced and repaired within site safety requirements.
Requirements
* Experience in a transport or logistics environment with operational management, supervisory or fleet management experience.
* Strong knowledge of transport compliance and legislative requirements.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Strong customer focus and commercial awareness.
* A proactive, solutions‐focused mindset.
* Occasional after‐hours support required.
* Full Australian working rights.
