What you'll be doing
* Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons in Mathematics and/or Science
* Assess student progress and provide regular feedback to support their learning and development
* Contribute to the development and implementation of curriculum, assessment and reporting
* Foster a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students
* Participate actively in professional development and collaborative teaching practices
* Undertake pastoral care responsibilities and support the broader life of the College
What we're looking for
* Tertiary qualifications in Education with a specialisation in Chemistry or Physics and Years 9-12 Mathematics
* Registered or eligible for registration as a teacher in Tasmania
* Demonstrated experience teaching Mathematics and/or Science at the secondary level
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students
* A commitment to ongoing professional learning and the ability to work collaboratively
* A passion for making a positive difference in the lives of young people
