About the role
Provide visionary leadership and strategic direction for our Victorian operations.
Foster strong relationships with the State Government, Scheme Coordinator and key stakeholders.
Drive a strong safety culture, ensuring that our team, customers, and visitors, go home safe every day.
Oversee multi-site operational performance, ensuring sites meet budgets and contractual service level agreements.
Develop and implement policies, processes, staff training programs, KPIs, and safety protocols to enhance efficiency and compliance.
Drive productivity strategies to maximise container recovery and enhanced efficiency at our sites.
Collaborate with senior managers and your team on policy, planning, and strategic decisions to achieve both short- and long-term goals.
Continuously review and refine operational policies and procedures for optimal efficiency.
Foster a company culture that promotes high performance, collaboration, and strong employee engagement.
Lead budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing processes to drive continuous improvement.
Work closely with senior leaders to develop innovative solutions that enhance the success of our Victorian business and contribute to national operations.
About you
Significant experience as a senior leader of a diverse multi-site retail business.
Strong stakeholder management skills with experience engaging with government bodies and regulatory agencies.
Proven ability to lead, design and deliver commercial results across a diverse network of independent businesses.
Possess strategic thinking, problem-solving ability, and planning skills and experience balancing the 'big picture' with attention to detail.
Demonstrate hands on operational expertise, with a track record of optimising processes, managing teams and delivering growth.
Experience advising senior managers on complex challenges and business strategies.
