Cyber Advisory Our Cyber Advisory team help our clients identify, measure and appropriately manage the cyber risks they carry. We translate the complex world of cyber security by assessing weaknesses in defences, develop strategies and roadmaps to drive up maturity, and support with the implementation of people, process and technology changes. A day in the life of a Cyber Advisory consultant ranges from mastering and applying the broad range of cyber frameworks we implement (e.g. NIST, PSPF/ISM, ISO27k, etc.), to facilitating a cyber crisis simulation, to advising CISOs, CIOs and CROs on strategic changes to their organisations. Job Description The Role and Responsibilities As a Director in our Cyber Advisory team, you will create value by: Leading a key service line or market within our Cyber & Tech Risk (C&TR) team and contributing as a member of our C&TR leadership team. Building strong client relationships, either through market engagement or project delivery, to intimately understand our client’s cyber challenges and how the company’s broad capabilities can help them. Leading business development activities including proposal development, competitive RFQ/RFP responses, cost modelling, and facilitating client presentations / demonstrations. Leading large and complex client engagements and providing expertise to a team of specialists to deliver innovative and high-quality services in the areas of Risk Management, Strategy, Governance & Culture, and Cyber Transformation. Managing the budget of a service line or capability to ensure its continued financial viability. Managing the health, wellbeing and professional growth of a team of high performing consultants, including recruitment, mentoring and coaching of staff in their professional growth, workload management and staff wellbeing, and performance management. Leading the development of new capabilities, products and services based on market demand. Management of the commercial relationships with key alliance partners. Qualifications About You About As a Director within Scyne Advisory, your role extends beyond technical proficiency. It's about embodying a set of values and personal attributes that drive success and foster meaningful relationships with both colleagues and clients. Here's what defines you: 10 years of industry experience working with large organisations implementing cyber security controls. Expert knowledge of common cyber security frameworks used by Australian and QLD government organisations (e.g. ISM/PSPF, ISO27k, NIST CSF, VPDSF, SACSF, etc.). A strong foundation of knowledge across contemporary technologies including networks, hyperscale clouds (Azure, AWS, GCP), common SaaS applications, end user compute, and data governance. A sound understanding of service delivery in commercial markets, including experience in business development activities, government procurement procedures, and management of several projects at once across a program of work. Qualifications and certifications in recognised and relevant industry accreditations such as CISSP, CISM, AWS and/or Microsoft Cloud certifications, SANS GIAC Information Security Professional (GISP), CCSP, CISA, ISO27001 training, Chartered Security Architect –Foundation Certificate (SCF), FAIR Analysis Fundamentals, or CompTIA.
