Add expected salary to your profile for insights
Dream Out Loud is on a mission to build the #1 education company in Australia.
We run transformational events and a high-level mastermind that help founders build businesses that don't run on their nervous system. We exist to change lives, grow leaders, and create businesses that scale with sanity.
We're not here to be average. We're here to set a new standard and we genuinely love what we do.
Our Core Values (Read These Before You Apply)
We don't just hang values on a wall. We hire and fire by them and we think they're worth being proud of.
Impact First – We measure success by lives changed, not tasks completed. Everything we design is built for transformation. If it doesn't move the needle for clients, we question it.
World Class Standard – \"Stretch Beyond Average.\" We move fast and deliver excellent work. \"Good enough\" is where we start, not where we finish.
The Pursuit Of Mastery – \"Always a student, never finished.\" We assume v1 is wrong. We test, learn, and iterate. Feedback is a gift, not a threat.
Own the Outcome – \"No excuses. No blame. Just results.\" If it's on your plate, you drive it. Clear communication, solutions over problems, no passing the buck.
Truth with Respect & Integrity – \"Say it straight, say it kind & leave it behind.\" We talk openly and honestly, handle issues quickly, and then get back to the mission. No gossip, no drama.
Good Humans, Great Energy – \"Bring the vibe, lift the tribe.\" We work hard, have fun, and treat people well. High standards, low ego.
If you read this and feel energised, you'll probably love it here. If it feels \"a bit intense,\" that's okay, it's just probably not the right fit.
The Role
We're hiring a Director of Operations & Events — the operational #2 to the founder.
Your mission: run the day-to-day operations and events so the founder can focus on growth, clients, and content. This is a hands‐on leadership role. You'll design structure and roll up your sleeves to make sure things actually get done. If you love bringing order to chaos and making experiences feel world‐class — this one's for you.
What You'll Own
Business Operations
Turn strategy into clear project plans, timelines, and priorities
Build and improve workflows across sales, onboarding, delivery, events, renewals, and finance admin
Coordinate the team and contractors so everyone knows what \"done\" looks like each week
Track key metrics and report to the founder in simple, clear dashboards
Events & Delivery
Own logistics for all in‐person events: venues, AV, catering, materials, run sheets, bump‐in / bump‐out
Coordinate contractors and support roles for bigger events
Be on‐site, calm and in control, so events feel world‐class and run smoothly
Team Rhythm & Standards
Run weekly ops / planning meetings and keep everyone aligned
Hold people to deadlines and standards in line with our values
Keep our tools and SOPs clean, current, and actually used
This Role Is For You If...
You have experience in operations and/or events (education, coaching, agency, hospitality, or events backgrounds all translate well)
You love structure, organisation, and making complex things simple
You're a leader and can handle turning chaos into clarity across departments
You're a player and a coach — happy to plan and to execute
You actually care about impact, personal growth, and doing work that matters
You resonate with our values and want to grow with a team long‐term
This Role Is Not For You If...
You want fully remote work — this is on‐site on the Gold Coast with regular in‐person events
You just want to \"do strategy\" and avoid the details - You'll have to roll up your sleeves and do the work at times
You don't enjoy being accountable for outcomes
High standards, honest feedback, and a fast pace feel like \"too much\"
You're looking for a casual, comfortable job over a fulfilling career.
What You Bring
Ideally 3+ years in operations, events, or project management
A proven track record running complex projects or events end‐to‐end
Strong organisation and time management — you don't drop balls
Comfortable with core tools: spreadsheets, project management, docs, CRM
A proactive, low-ego, \"I'll own it and figure it out\" attitude
The Details
Location: On-site, Gold Coast, QLD
Type: Full‐time
Salary: Competitive, aligned with experience — with bonus structure potential
