Submersible Motor Engineering Pty Ltd specialises in the Design, Manufacture, Sales & Service of Submersible Electric Motors Worldwide.
We are seeking an experienced Accounts/Administration Manager to join our team on a full-time basis with an immediate start. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day financial tasks, maintain accurate accounting records, and support the smooth financial operation of organisation.
About the Role
You will be the primary administrative and financial lead for SME. Where accuracy, consistency and reliability are essential. Your primary responsibilities will be but not limited to weekly payroll, accounts processing and invoicing.
Key Responsibilities:
Payroll
· Process weekly payroll accurately and on time
· Process monthly salaries
· Maintain payroll records & employee data
· Assist with onboarding paperwork & employee record updates
· Handle PAYG, STP, superannuation, payroll tax, BAS and year-end processes
Accounts & Bookkeeping
· Accounts Receivable: invoicing, receipting, customer follow-ups, petty cash & bank reconciliations
· Accounts Payable: invoice entry, supplier reconciliations & remittance preparation
Administration
· Processing Imports & Exports
· General office administration as needed
· Maintain various registers
· Provide assistance to Reception when needed
· Assist with purchasing
About you
· Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role
· Competent across AP, AR & general ledger basics
· Strong payroll knowledge
· Proficient in MYOB & Xero
· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite – especially Excel
· Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
· Confident communication with internal teams & customers
