About the Opportunity
This is a senior leadership position within a Defence and National Security portfolio across Australia and New Zealand. The role will play a crucial part in shaping the strategic direction of this sector.
The Director of Customer Service Defence will lead a team responsible for one of our large account engagements with Aust Department of Defence, influencing strategic priorities and driving operational outcomes.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and inspire a team of sales and customer relationship professionals across geographically dispersed sites for one of our largest account engagements within Aust Dept of Defence.
* Drive growth through winning and leading strategic capture and bid activities for major Defence programs.
* Work closely with our delivery team to ensure service performance meets contractual, operational and customer expectations.
* Identify future opportunities and needs within this Defence account, establishing our organisation at the forefront of innovation within the market.
* Partner with primes, SMEs and academia to enhance our organisation's role in the Defence ecosystem.
* Maintain and lead core activities within the customer account including performance reporting, monitoring of the contract and commercial arrangements, ensuring service delivery excellence and financial performance.
Requirements and Experience:
* 10+ years experience within leadership and management roles ideally within a Defence or Federal government organisation with a focus on customer and sales.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build collaborative working relationships with customers, suppliers and stakeholders.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills; and excellent NV1 Security Clearance.
