About the Position
The role plays a crucial part in providing authoritative recommendations, advice and information in accordance with good administrative decision making and best practice regulation.
The position will also be proactive and support regulatory practice reforms and initiatives that achieve strategic objectives and activities under relevant legislative frameworks.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Contribute to the development and application of procedures to review, assess and prepare recommendations to NSSAB on applications for accreditation and eligibility for government funding of proposed non-state schools.
2. Coordinate and oversee the non-state schools demonstration of compliance program, including analysis and assessment of plans and reports, preparation of recommendations and advice to NSSAB, and correspond with schools on compliance outcomes.
3. Prepare and respond to correspondence between NSSAB and applicants and other parties as part of the accreditation, funding eligibility and compliance processes.
