Role Description
This is a part-time or full time on‐site role for a Diabetic Educator located in the Greater Melbourne camberwell Area. The Diabetic Educator will be responsible for assessing patients' educational needs, creating tailored lesson plans, delivering diabetes-related education, and providing training on diabetes management, including lifestyle changes and medication use. The role also involves collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care for patients. Suffiicrnt internal referral from 8 GP insude clinic also surrounding clinics.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Education
* Strong Teaching and Training abilities
* Registered and accredited as a Diabetes Educator
* Knowledge of current diabetes management techniques and technologies
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
* Compassionate approach to patient care and education
* Experience in providing culturally sensitive education is a plus
