The Veolia ANZ remediation services team is seeking an Environmental Engineer Trainee to join their team based in Rocklea. This permanent full-time position would suit a recent engineering graduate who is keen to gain hands-on experience with a global organization.

As the Environmental Engineer Trainee, you will be involved in various current remediation services projects. These include monitoring of regulated waste and contaminated soil remediation contracts from initial scope through to completion while maintaining compliance with statutory and environmental policies and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist with routine monitoring and sampling of contaminated waste and soil
- Take part in the supervision & administration of treatments at Ti Tree Bioenergy Facility and Wattle Glen Resource Recovery Facility
- Organize and coordinate contractors in order to ensure jobs are run in accordance with all relevant legislation

Requirements:

- A Bachelor Degree in Environmental Engineering, Science, Management or related studies
- Ability to take initiative, learn and grow within a professional team environment
- Current valid drivers license
