About the role:
As Front of House Manager, your role is to lead a dedicated team in effortlessly delivering seamless service. Your experience and guidance will ensure guests of the restaurant experience unforgettable dining experiences that linger long after their plates are cleared.
Primary Responsibilities & Duties:
* Manage the day-to-day operations of the restaurant front of house and leading service throughout peak times.
* Provide leadership, training and direction to the front of house team, to ensure a premium, seamless and efficient operation.
* Collaboration and communication with the Head Chef in service procedures, menu curation, wine lists, and beverage offerings
* Management of front of house rostering, inventory, costs, and optimising revenue through pricing strategies, portion control, and inventory management.
* Fostering a positive and encouraging work environment
* Maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant.
* Work with management to continuously improve service, quality, cleanliness, and sustainability of the restaurant.
* Develop thoughtful initiatives to enhance guest experience to drive customer satisfaction, restaurant revenue, and customer engagement.
* Maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
* Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, food handling and WHS requirements.
* Prioritise customer service and guest experience.
Qualifications and Skills
* Positive and enthusiastic personality with a priority to deliver exceptional service and quality of guest experience.
* Previous management experience in a premium restaurant environment essential.
* Knowledge of food and variety of beverages.
* Passion for quality and sustainability of products and service provided.
* Experience with management of budget, inventory and rostering.
* Exceptional organisational skills, with a high level of prioritisation, attention to detail and sense of urgency.
* Flexibility to work on a rotating roster, with availability for mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.
* Maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
* Possession of a valid RSA certificate.
