The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Customer Service Consultant for Team Global Express's state of the art site at Banksmeadow. This is a fulltime temp opportunity, the positions require a high level of attention to detail, excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and the ability to work autonomously. Hours are Mon-Fri 10am-6.00pm. This is a great opportunity for people looking to start their careers in the dynamic world of freight, logistics and supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
* Responding to all customer enquiries and taking bookings via phone and email in a timely and professional manner
* Arranging pick and delivery of time sensitive shipments with clients and internal stakeholders and prioritising routing per TGE's guidelines
* Providing quotes to customers in line with company guidelines
* Alerting receiving states/territories to all outbound movements
* Maintaining regular contact with the customer regarding the progress of their consignment including any delays and proof of delivery details
* Assist colleagues when/where required

* Strong work ethic and the desire to learn and develop
* Excellent business communication skills
* Strong problem solving and investigation skills
* Excellent customer service skillset
* Confidence with Microsoft Office especially Excel
* The ability to work efficiently and effectively
