Employment Details
* Temporary two‐year contract, full‐time (35 hours per week).
* Remuneration of $2,793.68 gross per fortnight with the opportunity to progress to $3,352.42 gross per fortnight + superannuation (12%).

This position is based on‐site, with in‐office attendance forming an essential part of the role.
Responsibilities
* Support the preparation of Council's Annual Financial Statements and other statutory reporting.
* Assist with long‐term financial planning and internal management reporting.
* Support the revenue team by assisting with revenue accounting processes.
* Contribute to procurement at Council, including assisting with purchasing activities.
* Assist in developing and maintaining financial policies, procedures and operating standards.
* Prepare financial reports and provide general financial support across the organisation.
Qualifications
* A Diploma or Certificate IV in Accounting, Finance or Business (or equivalent experience).
* Experience in business or finance administration.
* Proficiency with finance systems (TechnologyOne preferred) and Microsoft Office.
* Strong communication, teamwork and customer service skills.
* Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently when required.
* A current Class C Driver's Licence.
