Our client is a well-established and growing business within the steel and metal manufacturing industry, supplying high-quality products and services to customers across a range of sectors. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join their team in Geebung.
About The Role
As the first point of contact for customers, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional service while supporting sales, production, and operations teams. You will manage customer enquiries, process orders, provide updates, and ensure a seamless customer experience from enquiry through to delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond to customer enquiries via phone and email.
* Process customer orders, quotations, and service requests accurately.
* Coordinate with internal departments to ensure timely order fulfilment.
* Provide customers with order updates and delivery information.
* Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
* Resolve customer issues and enquiries in a professional manner.
* Maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
* Assist with general administration and customer support activities.
About You
* Previous experience in a customer service, sales support, internal sales, or administration role.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
* The ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* A proactive and solutions-focused attitude.
* Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
* Experience within the steel, manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, construction, or industrial sectors will be highly regarded.
