About the Role:
Our client, a reputable shopping centre landlord, is seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead the centre’s built environment, preserving and boosting the value of the shopping centre through effective management of various aspects including building services, infrastructure, ESG initiatives, compliance, and more.
The successful candidate will lead the operations team, bringing a keen eye for operational efficiency and technical maintenance that enhances the shopping centre experience for customers, retailers and contractors.
Key Duties:
* Managing day-to-day operations of the shopping centre
* Budget management and planning
* Building relationships with retailers
* Disaster recovery planning and risk management
* Contractor management
* Coordination of tenant fit-outs and de-fits
* Providing leadership to support staff
* Liaising with stakeholders
Skills and Experience:
* Previous experience in shopping centre or large-scale facilities management equivalent
* Strong technical experience and knowledge across all building services e.g. HVAC, mechanical, electrical, cleaning and security services
* Proven leadership ability managing and mentoring a small team
* Knowledge of building infrastructure and systems
* Problem-solving and analytical abilities
* Capacity to work flexible hours, including weekend work when required
* The know how to build strong relationships with all stake holders
