The Role
This is an entry-level Farmhand/Machinery Operator position centered on seasonal tractor operation, with primary tasks including sowing, cultivation, and earthworks. As a key member of the team, you will report directly to the farm manager and receive comprehensive training and instruction.
The operation is a 5,700ha broadacre dryland grain farm growing a mix of wheat, barley, lentils, and brown manure. The farm utilises modern equipment and operates a 15-meter Controlled Traffic Farming (CTF) system, with technology including Agworld, PCT, and John Deere Operations Centre. Previous sowing experience is preferred.

The Offer
A competitive hourly rate of $30-$45/hr is on offer, commensurate with your experience. In addition to the salary, the successful candidate will be provided with comfortable on-farm accommodation in a small bungalow, which includes a bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen/lounge area. Some use of a work vehicle is also included. Animals may be considered by negotiation.
