Position Available: Digital Learning Officer
We are looking for a dynamic professional to fill the role of Digital Learning Officer at our Reedy Creek campus. This is a Full Time (Term Time) position.
The successful candidate will have expertise in digital systems and software applications to enhance teaching and learning practices across the College. Responsibilities include designing and delivering effective training programs aligned with the College’s digital learning strategy. The role requires blending coaching skills with meticulous administration to improve staff IT skills and adoption of new technologies.
Responsibilities
1. Training Program Design and Delivery: Collaborate with IT experts to create engaging training content for digital tools, conduct hands-on sessions, and evaluate training effectiveness.
2. Individual and Group Coaching: Provide personalized coaching, address challenges related to software and hardware, and foster a positive learning environment.
3. Training Logistics and Administration: Maintain training records, manage bookings, and serve as a point of contact for training partners and participants.
4. IT Policy Adherence: Ensure training complies with IT policies and security protocols.
5. Reporting and Continuous Improvement: Generate reports, assess training outcomes, and identify opportunities for new programs or certifications.
Requirements and Skills
* Experience and Qualifications: Proven experience as a Training Coach, IT Trainer, or similar, with strong knowledge of digital systems, software, and hardware. Proficiency in MS365, Apple, and familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) are advantageous.
* Coaching Skills: Ability to motivate and guide staff, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and accuracy in documentation.
