As a Storeperson, you will be responsible for the daily operation of our warehouse based at Prestons.
Your day will involve:
1. Unloading and loading vehicles using warehousing machinery, such as forklifts, to lift, place and move items and pallets
2. Goods inwards processing, checking incoming goods against delivery paperwork, inspecting and reporting any damages
3. Picking and packing orders, which involves collecting products and preparing for dispatch with the appropriate paperwork
4. Stock management - conducting daily inventory checks and stocktakes
5. Scheduling and ordering of daily transport requirements complying with safety regulations to ensure a safe work environment
6. Provide day to day customer service and administration support to the Packaged Products Distribution team.
What are we looking for?
7. Must have good interpersonal and organisation skills
8. A demonstrable customer focus with a strong sense of service delivery
9. Forklift Licence preferred
10. Proven experience picking, packing, checking and dispatching of orders
11. Inventory and stocktaking experience
12. Proficiency in MS Office Suite
