The role
Full Time, ContinuingAcademic Level B/C - $113,841 to $160,308 pa (plus 17% superannuation)Orange
An exciting opportunity exists to join our highly regarded Dentistry discipline responsible for producing work-ready graduates and preparing professionals to practice in urban, rural and regional community settings.
Support students’ development of pre-clinical and clinical skills in the University’s state-of-the-art teaching facilities, including the Simulation clinic, Dental Technology and Anatomy laboratories, and the Charles Sturt Dental and Oral Health clinics.
You’ll work closely with the Dean of Dentistry and Oral Health, the Associate Heads of School, and a collaborative multidisciplinary academic team. Depending on your appointment level, you may also contribute to research, scholarship of teaching and learning, academic leadership, and industry engagement.
This position is offered as a full-time continuing position on the Orange campus, but a part-time appointment may be negotiated with the successful applicant. Generous financial assistance is available to help you relocate to take up this opportunity.
About you
AHPRA‑registered dentist (full registration) in good standing with the Dental Board of Australia.Postgraduate qualification relevant to dentistry or evidence of national‑level academic/professional achievement.For Level C: Doctoral qualification in clinical dentistry plus a nationally recognised research record.Demonstrated national‑level achievement in clinical dentistry, leadership, teaching, research or professional practice.Strong experience in clinical supervision and delivering high‑quality, student‑centred teaching.Proven ability to build and maintain effective professional relationships and networks.
