About the role
As a Helpdesk Technician Level 1-2 (MSP) at Priority Technology Solutions', you will play a vital role in providing technical support and IT assistance to our clients. This full-time position is based in Melbourne VIC 3000, where you will be responsible for resolving a wide range of IT-related issues and ensuring the seamless operation of our clients' technology infrastructure.
What you'll be doing
- Responding to and resolving incoming support requests from clients in a timely and efficient manner
- Performing diagnostics, troubleshooting and problem-solving to identify and address the root cause of technical problems
- Providing remote and on-site support for hardware, software, and network-related issues
- Documenting all support activities and maintaining detailed records of the resolution process
- Escalating complex issues to senior team members or specialist support when required
- Ensuring optimal system performance and availability by proactively monitoring client systems
- Providing end-user training and guidance on the use of IT systems and applications
- Working from home and attending client locations
What we're looking for
- 1-3 years of experience in a helpdesk or IT support role, preferably within a managed service provider (MSP) environment
- Strong technical skills and problem-solving abilities, with a positive understanding of hardware, software, and network technologies
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- Proficiency in using remote support tools and ticketing systems
- A positive, collaborative, and customer-focused attitude
- Relevant IT certifications, such as CompTIA A+ or ITIL Foundation, are highly desirable
- A suitable home office/room for WFH
