What Your Day Will Look Like….
As a Senior Psychologist with Darling Downs Health, your day will be dynamic and fulfilling. You will engage in comprehensive clinical assessments, applying your advanced psychological knowledge to diagnose and treat complex mental health conditions. Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will develop and implement tailored intervention plans, ensuring a recovery-focused approach for each individual. Your role will involve case management, crisis response, and ongoing collaboration with various stakeholders to provide holistic care. You will also contribute to service improvement initiatives, mentor less experienced psychologists, and participate in clinical research and education. Your high-level communication skills will be essential in fostering strong relationships with consumers, their families, and your colleagues, all while advocating for the best possible mental health outcomes.
