The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development or sales within the construction or building materials sector. Strong knowledge of commercial building products is highly desirable, along with existing networks with architects, designers, contractors, and builders in the ACT/NSW market.
Responsibilities
* Create new business opportunities, securing projects and clients in the commercial construction space.
* Promote innovative products to architects, specifiers, and contractors, positioning yourself as a trusted technical partner.
* Expand our presence by opening new accounts and strengthening ties with regional builders and developers.
* Attend industry events and network with associations.
* Manage your pipeline through our CRM system, ensuring consistent follow-ups and structured reporting.
Requirements
* Proven track record in business development or sales within the construction or building materials sector.
* Strong knowledge of commercial building products highly desirable.
* Existing networks with architects, designers, contractors, and builders in the ACT/NSW market advantageous.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship management skills.
* Ability to work independently, strategically, and hands-on in a competitive market.
