A new position is now available in our Mechanical Team who are hiring a Project Coordinator.
Based out of our Clayton office and working closely with the on-site Project Managers, you will play a key role in ensuring projects are successfully completed on-time and within budget.
Your duties will include but are not limited to:
* Draft and maintain an updated database of all contract-related documents.
* Assist project managers with organising and optimising project workflows.
* Assist with end-to-end purchasing process including raising purchase orders and approving invoices.
* Organising efficient and timely delivery of materials and equipment to site;
* Creating and maintaining schedules and forecasts for new projects and ensuring stakeholders are updated on revised dates.
* Cost management;
* Negotiating pricing
* Issuing drawing updates to Builders, Installers and sub-contractors;
* Draft, review, and manage Operations & Maintenance (O&M) documentation for projects.
* Organising project certification and documentation to successfully close out projects; and
* ADHOC duties including providing meeting minutes.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar position is desirable;
* Excellent organisational skills;
* Strong written and verbal communication skills;
* High level ability to maintain effective working relationships with all key stakeholders such as architects, clients, project managers, building surveyors/certifiers, equipment suppliers, builders and contractors;
* An energetic approach to problem-solving, possessing a great "can-do" attitude;
* A high level of attention to detail;
