JH Group NT are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join the finance team.
The successful applicant will be proactive, solutions focused, a team player and have a genuine interest in payroll. You will have a clear understanding of payroll compliance legislation that affects payroll.
Reporting directly to the CFO, this position will see you responsible for the following:
1. Processing new starter documentation and completing background, reference and verification checks as required.
* End to end Payroll function
* Weekly, fortnightly payment runs
* Reconciliations
* Superannuation and Payroll Tax
* Investigating payroll queries
* Calculating and processing termination payments
* End of financial year reporting
* Addressing employee queries, concerns, and issues related to payroll and HR
* Managing the onboarding and offboarding of employees
Required Skill Set
* Expert knowledge of payroll systems and HRIS
* Total commitment to detail and quality
* Expert time management, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
This role requires a high level of professionalism and the ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times due to the large amounts of employee information that the role will come into contact with each day.
