CRANAplus ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality primary healthcare to remote and isolated areas of Australia. We are a grassroots, not-for-profit, membership-based organisation that has provided nearly 40 years of education, support and professional services for the multi-disciplinary remote health workforce.
The Mental Health and Wellbeing Educator delivers targeted, evidence-based education that strengthens the wellbeing and resilience of the rural and remote health workforce through accessible, high-quality learning experiences.
Initial focus areas
* Understand workforce needs and context
* Build key stakeholder relationships
* Review and prioritise education content
* Commence delivery of priority programs
* Embed quality, cultural safety, and evaluation
NOTE: Our CRANAplus head office is located in Adelaide; however, this is a remote role open to applicants Australia-wide!
Qualifications
* Relevant nursing qualification/registration or mental health professional qualification/registration and experience delivering mental health and wellbeing education
* Strong facilitation and communication skills across online and face-to-face settings
* Ability to design evidence-based, adult-learning resources for diverse health professionals
* Collaborative, self-directed approach with an understanding of rural and remote contexts
