About the role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Part-time Gardener to join our team at Rileys Gardens' in Katoomba, NSW. As a Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining the beautiful gardens and landscaping at our premier residential and commercial properties. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and rewarding role, where you can make a real impact on the aesthetic and environmental quality of our well-established gardens.
What you'll be doing
* Performing general gardening duties such as mowing, edging, weeding, mulching and fertilising
* Pruning and trimming shrubs, hedges and trees to maintain their shape and health
* Planting, transplanting and caring for a variety of flowers, plants and trees
* Identifying and treating plant diseases and pests
* Ensuring the gardens are clean, tidy and well-maintained at all times
* Assisting with the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems
* Reporting any issues or concerns to the Garden Supervisor
What we're looking for
* At least 2 years' experience working as a Gardener or Landscape Maintenance professional
* Strong practical gardening skills and knowledge of horticulture, plant care and landscaping
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Good physical fitness and stamina to perform manual gardening tasks
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards
* Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
