We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as an Administrative Officer. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide exceptional support and services to our staff and students, ensuring all activities are completed in accordance with appropriate policies, procedures, and processes.
* This is a 29 hours per week, continuing position based in Mackay
* Support College-based Academic team members as required
* Organise travel and accommodation logistics
* Arrange interviews
* Draft and prepare communications
* Liaise with clients and key stakeholders
* Reviewing, processing and finalising Service Now tickets
* Reading, researching and routing correspondence; drafting letters, emails and documents
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality administration, organisation, and customer service to staff and students. Key responsibilities include:
* Coordinating and scheduling internal and external meetings and events
* Providing support to College-based Academic team members as required
* Organising travel and accommodation logistics
* Arranging interviews
* Drafting and preparing communications
* Liaising with clients and key stakeholders
* Reviewing, processing, and finalising Service Now tickets
* Reading, researching, and routing correspondence; drafting letters, emails, and documents
Key Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Customer service experience and ability to manage high numbers of inquiries effectively and efficiently via phone and email
* Previous experience in providing high-level executive support
* Proficient in the use of computerised systems and databases including the Microsoft Office suite
* Highly organised individual with great time management skills to prioritise and meet competing deadlines
* Fantastic communicator with skills and experience in dealing with people from a variety of backgrounds
* Attention to detail and ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team
