The Position This role provides outstanding customer service to visitors of the Albury Waste Management Centre (AWMC), oversees gatehouse and weighbridge operations, and plays a key role in the smooth running of the facility through hands-on operational support, administration, data collection, and reporting. Tasks and responsibilities Provide front-line customer service functions at the Waste Management Centre in person, by phone and through email. Open and close the Waste Management Centre. Direct customers where to deposit waste and recyclable materials. Operate cash register, EFTPOS facilities and credit card payments and balance daily cash receipts. Ensure waste entering the site is permitted for disposal under the licence conditions. Record waste quantities, types, and source. Qualifications and experience Customer Service Training or equivalent relevant work experience Class C (standard) Driver's Licence (compulsory to have and maintain) Relevant experience working in customer service and cash handling environment Hours Based on a 38 hour week, working a minimum of 22 hours each week with actual days and times being worked in accordance with a facility roster.
