About the team
Be involved in a major bank project to migrate software and applications to two new data centres. Work closely with management, other developers, network, integration and testers to migrate software. Drive solutions for complex problems individually and in a team-based environment. You will get some of the best learning experiences, with advanced tools and team members who are passionate about protecting the security and stability of our technology estate. Role reports to Project Team Lead.
Role responsibilities
* Build and deploy existing applications onto new infrastructure
* Input with firewall rules and Java layers
* Familiarity with automation platforms and frameworks such as Puppet
* Documentation, migration through various environments and support for testers
About you
* In-depth knowledge of Java technologies (e.g., Embedded Tomcat, Spring Boot, etc.)
* Knowledge of Azure DevOps and pipeline usage
* Strong web services knowledge
* Knowledge of SQL Server will be highly regarded
* Knowledge of C will be highly regarded
* Have a curious and accountable mindset
