What you will do
* Collaborate within the multidisciplinary CMHT to support service users with severe and enduring mental health problems.
* Manage a small caseload and coordinate clinical activities within the team.
* Set clinical priorities to maintain the highest standard of care.
* Supervise and support clinical staff, providing expertise on care coordination and daily clinical operations.
* Contribute insights and leadership to multidisciplinary team meetings and decision-making processes.
* Partner with care coordinators to uphold high clinical care standards using evidence-based approaches.
* Assist in screening and coordinating referrals, and participate in allocation and discharge meetings.
* Allocate caseloads effectively, considering service user needs and team skills.
* Familiarise yourself with CMHT data and performance requirements to ensure team targets are met.
Requirements of the Community Psychiatric Nurse
* Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing
* Experience working as a Mental Health Nurse
* NMC Registration
