We transform inspiring visions into successful realities, offering innovative, collaborative, flexible, and proactive solutions.Our team has helped deliver some of the largest and most complex projects in Adelaide including 60 King William Street, Adelaide Convention Centres and the award-winning Adelaide Oval redevelopment.The OpportunityReporting to the Office Manager, this role will see you working across a diverse range of functions, encompassing elements of administration, Marketing, events management, and reception.You will play an essential role in our visitor experience and will also lead our staff engagement initiatives, contributing to a positive working culture. Day-to-day, this role will also see you provide critical administrative support for the Adelaide team.Other key aspects of your role include:Welcoming visitors and attending to enquiries, both in person and via phoneOrdering of catering, stationery, kitchen consumables, etc.Organising and coordinating office functions and other eventsEnsuring the office, including kitchens and meeting rooms, are kept in a clean and welcoming manner, with all consumables stockedAllocation and management of office access cardsCoordinating and maintaining meeting room booking systemsPreparing, processing, and distributing incoming and outgoing mail and deliveriesProviding administrative support to the Regional Director, Office Manager and Engineering Teams, as requiredBooking travels with our travel providerAssistance with bid process requirementsProcessing office and staff expensesAssisting with invoicing for end of monthAssisting with marketing materials such as capability statements and social media postsLiaison with building management for office maintenance needsWhy work for us?RBG offers a collaborative and engaging environment, as our people are core to our business; we believe diverse and effective teams of individuals are key to our success.We offer access to learning & development, paid birthday leave, paid parental leave, various financial and health/wellbeing benefits, recognition awards, and an active and social team environment.Skills & ExperienceYou will bring a positive and vibrant can-do attitude with the ability to communicate with stakeholders from all levels effectively.In addition, we are looking for:Strong attention to detail and organisational skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsA client service approach and well-developed interpersonal skills - friendly, approachable, and reliableAbility to work independently and use initiative to solve problemsAbility to balance workload and prioritise accordinglySound knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and Adobe (preferred)Creativity and ability to plan and lead social events from time to timeAbility to be flexible and adaptableMust have at least 3 years’ experience at receptionMust have at least 2 years’ experience in administrative roleProfessional front of house appearanceIf you seek a career that offers variety and a collaborative and continuous learning working environment, we want to hear from you!Robert Bird Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.This role does not require agency input.Please do not forward resumes directly to RBG’s employees/managers; we do not accept unsolicited resumes and will not be responsible for any associated fees.
