About the Role:
As a Kitchen Commis, you will support the team with your culinary expertise, in preparing and delivering quality food to guests at the Cafe. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced setting while working in a unique wildlife park environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Food preparation, basic cooking and plating tasks (simple Café menu)
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization
• Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met
• Manage food ordering
• Preparation of basic recipes
• Support the team in daily operations, including stock management
What We’re Looking For:
• At least a one-year experience in a Café or restaurant kitchen operation
• Ability to work efficiently in a team and under pressure
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
