We are currently seeking a Plant Operator to join our production team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work in a manufacturing environment and takes pride in operating machinery safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and monitor steel manufacturing plant equipment and machinery
* Assist in the production and processing of steel products
* Load and unload raw materials and finished products
* Conduct routine equipment checks and basic maintenance
* Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times
* Maintain a clean and organised work area
* Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet production targets
Requirements
* Previous experience in manufacturing, steel processing, or plant operations is preferred but not essential
* Ability to operate or learn to operate industrial machinery
* Strong work ethic and reliability
* Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment
* Good attention to safety procedures
* Forklift licence (desirable but not required)
* Ability to perform manual handling tasks
