We are seeking a diligent and organized IT professional to join our team as a Service Desk Operations Specialist. This role will be responsible for maintaining multi-user computer systems, providing technical support to end users, and ensuring the smooth operation of our infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
* Account Management: Create and manage administrator and service accounts, and maintain clear system documentation.
* Software Deployment: Deploy system-wide software efficiently, minimizing downtime and ensuring seamless transitions.
* Storage Optimization: Manage and optimize storage space, ensuring efficient use of resources.
* Server Support: Provide technical support and maintenance for our server platform and related applications.
* Problem Solving: Identify and resolve infrastructure issues in a timely and effective manner.
* Collaboration: Work closely with business technology groups to manage infrastructure deployments and ensure successful project outcomes.
Requirements
* Experience: Proven experience in server, desktop, and Active Directory administration in a medium-to-large scale environment.
* Technical Skills: Proficiency in multi-domain/Active Directory and TCP/IP networks, as well as knowledge of Windows Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, Networking, Storage, and Backup.
* Certifications: ITIL Foundation v3 certification is an asset.
Preferred Qualifications
* Expertise: Experience with server hardware, VCE vBlock, NetApp, EMC, and Cisco hardware, as well as familiarity with SCCM, SCOM, SharePoint, EMC Networker, Citrix VDI, and McAfee products.

This role requires an Australian Citizen with an NV2 or higher Security Clearance. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
