Details: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Parks Presentation Team Leader to support the delivery of high‑quality horticultural maintenance across Canberra's town and district parks.
In this hands‑on leadership role, you'll guide a small team of horticultural staff and apprentices, coordinate daily work programs, and ensure maintenance and presentation standards are met. You'll work closely with the Floriade Head Gardener to deliver horticultural improvement programs and uphold safety, quality and customer‑focused service.
Eligibility/Other Requirements:
* Certificate III – Horticulture/Turf/Landscaping or equivalent as a minimum.
* AQF-3 Chemical Accreditation is highly desirable.
* Asbestos Awareness Training and evidence of completion delivered by a Registered Training Organisation is required before commencement, for further information refer to: Asbestos Awareness Training - WorkSafe ACT and Access Canberra
* Safe handling of Sharps and Infectious Waste statement of attainment or willingness to obtain.
* Implement Traffic Control Plans qualification or a willingness to obtain.
* Driver's licence C Classis essential, Medium Rigid (MR) is preferred.

* This position requires a pre-employment medical.

* Workplace Health and Safety Induction (White Card) or willingness to obtain; General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
